Are there plans to put as much energy into the specialties at Kunyung, as is put into IB? After all, the IB system is about encouraging children to pursue their own interests and limiting this to academic ones doesn’t really support all children. Looking at the contrast between this section of the KPS blog and the specilialties is real evidence of the disparity.

At Kunyung our students are encouraged in all areas of the curriculum to purue their own interests (both academic and non academic) however at this point the School Blog may not accurately reflect this.
We started this blog to communicate our learning with families- the specialist teachers have just started to experiment with this forum.
Our philosophy is inquiry based learning and inspiring our children to be the best they can be- how best to communicate what we do with parents is a challenge we face……..one that we are constantly trying to improve!
